The French artist François Ruyer loves to pick mushrooms, but his true passion is drawing. He has been an enthusiastic penciller of cartoons since the earliest days of his youth. Ruyer has now illustrated over 300 books, most of them for children. He has developed numerous and lovingly detailed puzzle motifs, many of which – albeit not all – are based on his book illustrations.
