Our fleece roving thrumb kit contains enough materials for three different projects; Thrummed mittens - one skein of Briggs & Little Tuffy/113g/215y, 80/20% wool/nylon in cocoa + enough roving (animal rainbow/grey) for a full adult size pair of mittens. Earmuffs/Slipper socks - 1 skein of Patons Inspired/150g/222y, of Aran weight acrylic/wool blend in Ginger for our earmuffs and  thrummed slipper socks. There is two bags of roving in the kit, one in muted rainbow/orange and one in animal rainbow/grey. 132.5 grams in total. This ball of Patons Inspired is a generous ball, 150g, it contains enough yarn for both the earmuffs and the slipper socks. Kit also contains all three patterns with pictures, yarn needles, all knitting needles required, plus extra notions and a surprise treat.

The Brown/Ginger colour option is a bit more flexible in regards to which roving you chose to use for each project. As stated in the patterns, prepare all of your roving thrumbs ahead of time, so you know you have enough of that colour for each project. The earmuffs use the least and the mittens use the most.

We test-made each of the items in our kit and weighed all of the yarn and roving for each item to ensure enough material is provided. Results are only guaranteed when instructions are followed exact.
